The newly designed Armor Edge with joint-fill stop is the new solution for “jointless” floor designs where the joints are opening wider. The joint-fill stop feature will reduce impact damage on wheels, thereby reducing lift truck maintenance costs, by enabling a smooth transition between slabs.

With the joint-fill stop solution, joints are allowed to open up to 3/4” and still provide a completely smooth transition across the joints. This, along with the steel edge protection, will make your construction joints last longer and reduce future call backs.

PNA has been helping to reduce floor maintenance costs by eliminating joint spalling for over 20 years with Armor-Edge. It has proved itself an ideal solution for construction joints in speed aisles, door thresholds, high-traffic areas, and freezer (cold storage) facilities.
Armor-Edge now comes standard with Joint-Fill Stop, providing a smooth transition for lift trucks across construction joints up to 3/4” wide, commonly found with “jointless” floor designs.
The Joint-Fill Stop provides shoulder support for semi-rigid joint-fillers and provides a totally smooth transition across joints.
This advancement in armored joint technology, when paired with the standard 3/8" cold-finished bar of steel protecting both joint edges, will significantly reduce lift truck maintenance costs for owners, and reduce call backs for contractors.
