For jobs requiring quick installation and consecutive placement, PNA's Armor-Edge®
All Steel joint assembly is a leave-in-place armored joint protection system on
full-depth, pre-fabricated unit. This system provides cold-rolled steel at the slab
plane for flatness requirements and superior edge protection for high-traffic areas,
freezer buildings and jointless floor designs, including:
- Shrinkage compensating concrete
- Post-tensioned
- Continuously reinforced
- Steel fiber reinforced
The assembly arrives on-site with PNA's Armor-Edge® joint assembly and Diamond Dowel®
System. The joint assembly is pre-installed on a sheet metal form; the Diamond Dowel®
plates are welded in the assembly; and the Diamond Dowel® pocket formers are provided
in separate packaging. The complete assembly ensures a smooth surface transition
for forklift traffic, reduces long-term floor and fork truck maintenance costs and
saves you time and money on labor and installation.
