Installing Precise and True Joints has Never Been Easier
Armor-Edge® joint assembly
is a superior edge protection system for high-traffic areas, freezer buildings and
jointless floor designs, including:
- Shrinkage compensating concrete
- Post-tensioned
- Continuously reinforced
- Steel fiber reinforced
A fully fabricated unit, the Armor-Edge® joint assembly incorporates the latest technology
to ensure a smooth surface transition for forklift traffic and reduces long-term
floor and fork truck maintenance costs.
Design Advantages
- Eliminates spalling for the life of the floor
- Provides superior edge protection
- Arrives at the jobsite fully aligned. The alignment assembly maintains bar position during shipping and installation. Then as the concrete shrinks, the alignment assembly bolt strips to allow joint activation
- Cold-rolled steel allows for installation to exacting tolerances
- Includes 90-degree angles, crosses and T's to allow for precise tie-in
Installation Advantages
- Eliminates on-site welding or grinding with skilled labor
- Mounting assembly bracket allows for easy adjustment to correct elevation
- Stud angles allow for easy stripping of forms
- Cold-rolled steel provides a flat exposed surface edge to finish against
- Arrives at the jobsite fully aligned and assembled for simple, efficient and accurate installation
